A production house for sport and adventure.
Quiet Eye Productions is a sport and adventure film company working across the UK and worldwide. We make documentaries, athlete led YouTube, branded campaigns and event highlights, bringing award winning filmmaking and elite sporting insight to the same films.
The founders' track record

Why we make what we make
Most sport content is made about athletes by people watching from outside.
The quiet eye is the fixation that comes just before commitment. It is measurable, it is what separates an expert from a novice, and it is where the film is. We named the company after it because we came from inside the sport before we came to the camera.
Athletes need a story that outlives their results. Brands need to be believed by an audience that dismisses advertising on sight. Events need a reason for people to care in the eleven months when nothing is happening. All three are the same job, and it is not covered by highlights.
The moment before commitment Why our films are different
Two paths. One behind the camera, one behind the scenes.

No other company brings elite athletic experience, a research scientist's eye and deep insight into professional sport to the same films.
The films
4 complete, 1 in developmentChasing Light
Two and a half hours of darkness stand between us and the summit of Ben Hope, the UK's most northerly Munro. Then it's a race against the setting sun to reach Durness Golf Club before the shortest day of the year runs out.
Winter Solstice at Durness Golf Club
A short film about golf at Durness, the most north westerly course on the British mainland, played on the shortest day of the year. Light, cold, and a long way north.
Balance
A short film about eventing, filmed at the 2025 Scone Palace International Horse Trials. It explores balance: between horse and rider, across the three disciplines, and between the mental and the physical.
Cateran Yomp 2026: 54 Miles of Grit
54 miles across the Perthshire hills in 24 hours for the Army Benevolent Fund. I asked people what grit meant at mile seven, then asked again in the dark.
What we do
Four strandsDocumentaries
A career ends and the earning power goes with it. We make the film that outlives the results.
Common questions
5 answeredHow does an athlete earn money after retiring?
Earnings after a career follow whatever audience and story the athlete built while still competing. Speaking, media work, brand partnerships and coaching all depend on being known for something beyond results. Almost nobody builds that on their own, and almost nobody builds it afterwards.
Should a professional athlete start a YouTube channel?
Yes, if it can be sustained. YouTube is the only major platform where the athlete owns the relationship with the audience, and where a sponsor can price the result. The obstacle is consistency, which is why most athletes need production support rather than advice.
How much does a sport documentary cost?
Cost follows shoot days, travel and complexity rather than runtime. A film made over a few days in one location sits far below one that follows a season. We scope to a budget, and we say early if a film is the wrong tool for the job.
What is the difference between a documentary and event highlights?
Highlights record that something happened. A documentary argues that it mattered. Highlights serve an audience that was already there and last a few days. A documentary reaches people who were not there and keeps working for years.
Where are you based?
We work across the UK from London and Perth, and we film anywhere in the world. A core team is supported by a trusted network of freelancers, which lets us scale for any project.
