The films
Every film Quiet Eye Productions has completed, and everything currently in development. We publish depth rather than volume, so each film gets a full case study with its story, its approach, its credits and its transcript.
Chasing Light
Two and a half hours of darkness stand between us and the summit of Ben Hope, the UK's most northerly Munro. Then it's a race against the setting sun to reach Durness Golf Club before the shortest day of the year runs out.
Winter Solstice at Durness Golf Club
A short film about golf at Durness, the most north westerly course on the British mainland, played on the shortest day of the year. Light, cold, and a long way north.
Balance
A short film about eventing, filmed at the 2025 Scone Palace International Horse Trials. It explores balance: between horse and rider, across the three disciplines, and between the mental and the physical.
Cateran Yomp 2026: 54 Miles of Grit
54 miles across the Perthshire hills in 24 hours for the Army Benevolent Fund. I asked people what grit meant at mile seven, then asked again in the dark.
In development
Honest statusA working pipeline. Nothing here implies a commission or an involvement that is not real and cleared.
- in development Danny's Big Adventure Danny Mavor is tetraplegic. In September he will attempt the Great Glen Way, coast to coast across the Highlands, on a heavily modified 4x4 wheelchair. Seven years on from the motorcycle accident that caused his spinal injury, and with Regain Sports Charity behind him, he has found a reason to go.
- in development Feel Feel is the follow up film to Balance, filmed at the 2026 Scone Palace International Horse Trials. Where Balance was about balance between horse and rider, Feel explores the communication between them, across dressage, cross country and show jumping.
